Inconsistent.. last week chicken philly w/ the chunked chicken the works add pickles.. ordered the same thing this week.. looked like small amount of sliced deli meat that didnt even cover roll & lettuce & tomatoes..that is not with the works at all!..not even pickles on my sub which was specifically asked for

This is a place that knows how to make a great sandwich! Food was excellent but the staff make it really special. This is a place you walk away full in body and spirit.

I absolutely love this sub place. It is alway a treat to go there and grab a melted roast beef sub. Yum!!!!!!! Definitely a place to visit

My husband and I enjoyed our desserts, a cannoli and coconut cake. For some reason, my coffee came lukewarm, but I didn't ask for a new cup. Our stop perked us up on our way home.

Oh my goodness! What a hidden gem this place is! My family was traveling and found this place off an exit thinking ‘it’ll be good enough - we’re starving’. Doesn’t look like anything special. The man who owns this place is from NY and makes NY style subs. He absolutely RUINED subs for me, I live 4 hours away and no sub will ever be as good as his. He’s raised the bar too high! I got the tuna sub with mayo, lettuce, tomato, oil, and vinegar. I had no idea what I’d been missing out on my whole life. Now I’m left to wonder “is 8 hours round trip for lunch really TOO far? This place is clean, delicious, friendly, amazing. 5 stars well deserved, I only wish it was closer to our house.

Had the Reuben. It was delicious and not too much butter. Owner was funny and charming. Cute little place.

Nice fresh bread, friendly owner but the tuna sandwich was way too thin it was like they painted the tuna fish on I'd stick to cold cuts if you're stopping in for lunch.

We we're driving thru, someone told us Angelo's had "killer subs." He wasn't kidding. I couldn't decide what to order and Angelo suggested the Turkey, Bacon & Pinapple. How did he know?!? It was one of the best subs I've ever eaten.

We were traveling back from Richmond and saw the golden arches...but noticed Angelo's in the shopping center. I never eat anywhere new without reading reviews...nearly five stars so was doubtful if they were "real" compared to the bad reviews about limited fillings. So glad we gave it a try! It was better then any sub we can remember having! Best bread! I had the Italian and my husband the fish sandwich. Must say, there is a balance between toppings for ultimate tastes, and Angelo's gets that. This all topped by ultimate customer service...the kind that has become a by gone for most businesses. Enjoy!

Spicy Italian sub is Off the Hook Delicious !!! Only negative is 11 dollars is way too much for a sub . We would eat there much more often if he had that sub on sale at least once a week !!! We would love to see more lunch an dinner specials so we could afford to eat there more often !!! Budget these days won't allow us to eat out but like once a month but would eat that sub 24\7 . Would love to have coupons in the mail !!!

This place has the taste of a typical NY sub shop. I don't go here often enough. Please do yourself a favor; stop by, place an order, and just enjoy a good meal for the money. You won't be sorry!

Made an impromptu stop as we'd seen this establishment in passing. So glad we did! Everything about their subs was delicious and sizes are reasonably priced. Unlike most sub shops, Angelo's offers delicious desserts, not just cookies. From carrotcake to cheesecake, take your pick and your tongue will jump for joy! Friendly and personable employees made it more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back.

Great, tasty place. Make sure to come here early for it gets insanely busy for lunch. I got the Sicilian and I highly recommend it.

My daughter, who worked for Angelo years ago, got take out from here, and was so happy so see angelo again. I had his Chef's salad, and I want to give it 7 stars!! worth a good drive to patronize.

I had a sausage sub and it had almost no meat, I'll never stop again. What a waist of $11.00.

Angelo's is great! Wish I lived closer to it, the food is so good. I love his subs and he has the best eggplant ever! Angelo himself, personable, nice, fantastic cook. Highley recommend. Great desserts too! Try the turkey, cranberry sub, yum!!

Stopped here on our way through town, returning home from a trip. Ordered a steak and cheese sandwich "all the way" and got what is probably the best sub I've had in many years. I hope we have a chance to come by again soon!
